JDAA is led by Jeffrey D. Armstrong, P.E. who oversees the technical aspects of all our projects. Jeff is assisted by a highly trained staff who help to provide accurate and thorough analyses for our clients.
Jeffrey D. Armstrong, P.E.
Jeff is a third generation engineer, and has over thirteen years experience in forensic engineering. He is a Civil Engineer with a Master’s Degree from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University. His projects have included traffic accident investigation and reconstruction, computerized traffic simulation and modeling, eminent domain, transportation planning, and civil engineering site design. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Florida and is a Senior Member of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers. Jeff is an Accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist with the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR).
Rebecca serves the firm as our Office Manager, Marketing Director, as well as a CADD/Survey Technician. She has attended Brigham Young University and Valencia Community College, and has taken numerous courses in Building Construction and Code Compliance. Rebecca and Jeff have been married for more than fifteen years and have four children.

Kathryn A. Lopez
Kathy joined our firm in the Spring of 2003. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida in Tampa, and has received Accident Investigation training from the Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM) in Jacksonville, Florida. She provides engineering support, CADD, and field investigations on our projects.
Janet Armstrong
Before moving to Florida, Janet served as chief financial officer for a non-profit firm in Nevada. She then managed an engineering firm in Utah. At JDAA she provides bookkeeping and clerical support for her son, Jeff's company.

Dale is a second generation engineer (he's Jeff's Dad), and has been working in the engineering field for more than 40 years. He is a Civil Engineer with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Utah. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Florida and Utah, and serves as a Senior Engineer in the firm. His engineering career includes twenty-six years overseeing engineering, construction, and maintenance projects with the United States Forest Service, as well as having been a County Engineer, County Public Works Director, Engineering Consultant, and Engineering Business Owner. He has decades of experience overseeing construction projects and in contract administration. His service in the firm includes general civil engineering analysis, construction administration, design defect analysis, eminent domain, forensic engineering, and vehicular accident reconstruction.
